The following poetry listed below are unofficial and are sent in by several visitors of my site. Thanks to everyone who has contributed and as a return, I have posted up your part...
Tribute On 2pac
They cut you down believing that you'd
fade away like ashes in the wind.
They were surprised as dumb founded deer
when you rose to super stardom once again.
Screaming your message in all of their ears,
they could never understand so instead they
robbed you of all your years.
No one could ever have imagined the pain your
death would leave. The oceans of tears I've
cried, no one can believe.
The five shots that took away my heart ring
in my ears when each new day starts.
Battling the demons that roamed through your mind,
in your lyrics, peace and serenity you tried to find.
They thought the love in our hearts would simply flicker out.
But, in fact, every second the love grows stronger, no doubt.
Your voice moved mountains and you attitude sprang tears.
Why did they steal from you all of your years?
Tupac Amaru Shakur, you are "The Rose That Grew From Concrete."
You are the one that was so very intricate and loved
by so many, so intimate.
That is why I will forever mourn you because of who
you are and I'll for an eternity pray for you and mourn
you as our true fallen star....

Love forever,

Tamika A. Jolley

Here Today, Gone Tomorrow!
All we see, is hate and rage,
What we want to see,
But what about the other side,
The side that's pure with glee.
But why we do this, I don't understand,
What happens tommorrow, we do not plan.
So, please consider what you've read,
And try to think past, what's in your head,
So look at "pac" through different eyes,

Now, you've become much more wise!

A Poem About Tupac
Only God Can Judge 2pac...
Black man, Black boy, Prince, Thug,
Revolutionary, Symbol. They only see your
tattoos, jewelry, and body language. They only
hear your vulgar words, defiant messages, and
your unavoidable controversy. They see your life
as a threat, they comment "chickens came home
to roost." They blame you for violence in
America, they pour disgust on you and point the
finger at you for problems in our families.
Black man, Black boy, Prince, Thug,
Revolutionary, Symbol. We see you as the dark
truth they are scared to accept. We see you as the
voice we sometimes could not find. We see you
as a young Malcolm X. Alcohol, drugs, women
and prison consumed you, as it did Brother
Malcolm. Yet those that knew you, knew you
were on the way out, you had seen the light and
moved toward it. We felt your pain, so similar to
ours. We felt your frustration, so similar to ours.
We felt your anger, so similar to ours. You are an
unavoidable realness. To Generation X, as they
describe it, you are a 1996 Elvis, John Lennon,
Jimi Hendricks, Sammy Davis, Ella Fitzgerald.
Those that don't know, may never know. Those
that do know, truly know that... Only God Can

Judge me!

Poetry by Sarah Halliday
I stand alone
single...solitary
Face 2 face
with harsh reality
Out on the battlefield
A soldier in the centre of
Our own creation
Watch us go down
as our foundation crumbles
But still u stand tall
Strong Soldier proven 2 be
You remain amongst us
in all your glory
Displaying the wonder that u r
Continue to feed our ever hungry souls
So tired and forgotten
Give us the strength to carry on
Fight for sense in all this insanity
Powerful Black Prince
Strong Soldier proven 2 be.

A dream is often lonely, but providing you're prepared to prevail....
It's invincible.

Poetry By Sarah Bays
The night I heard it on the news,
I set down to cry,
Why did my hero have to die?
He gave me strength to live another day,
through his music I learned so much,
he told the truth about people like us,
His songs so touched me,
That today I still cry,
a river of sorrow,
not a day pa*ses by,
Even though you are gone,
My friends and I carry on,
Your songs we still listen to,
to find the strength to go on.

Touch
Touch... light as a feather
I will wait for you honestly
I am yours-entirely
I remember last nights dream
Could it be the one of you?

I've known the face inside the window
And the voice forever in my heart ...
Like an angels arrow

I remember last nights dream
Could it be the one of you?
Would you risk it all...
For me?

Inside

If I were a window, then you may see
All of the deep dark secrets that are inside of me.
If I were to tell you, it'd be hard to envision
The joy or the pain with an accurate precision.
My pale face may be all that you see,
But peel away my looks before you judge me.
You wouldn't know whether I was evil or kind,
Whether I'm emotionally stable or out of my mind.
What I'm asking is to put your prejudice aside,
Sit down, talk to me, and look deep inside.
